Anchor is a great size and weight for holding in moving water, very hard to get stuck and will almost always come loose if you paddle in the opposite direction.
Best anchor for a kayak with an anchor wizard

the anchor fits in the chute perfectly. deploys properly every time. one anchor on the bow and one anchor on the stern holds my kayak in place. these are better than any other anchor type. the 6lb anchor wizard anchor holds the kayak in place better than a 10lb mushroom anchor especially on a river with current.

word of advice: do NOT use micro carabiners to attach your anchor to the anchor line. the anchor WILL pop off. secondly, i recommend replacing the main anchor line with zing-it line as it is quieter and you can splice the line to make loops that will not undo.

I have used 4 different style anchors with the low profile anchor wizard. This one is by far the best. Given that is is from the same company, I expected it to be better than the others, but it exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend for wizard users.
